Improving Office Emotional Wellbeing
SLOW
After using design tools of probes, workshop and scenarios, our team discovered that most people relate stress to their workplaces, which inspires us to develop a design problem that promotes emotional wellness for overworked office workers.
As we went through the scenarios, we faced mainly two problems, the first being that overworked people would not have motivation to start new ventures outside of work, the second is that overworking is a structural issue that involves the business environment and local work cultures.
As we brainstormed for design outcomes, we finally came to a design vision to create a go-to emotional wellness package for busy Hong Kong offices.
Our mission is to improve the emotional wellbeing of Hong Kong office workers by providing a package of workshops and apps that could teach them meditation skills and also promote a culture of emotional wellbeing at the office.

How We Did It

It is a change from a user-centered design process to that of participatory experiences." | ![]() Participatory Design Graph | ![]() Cultural ProbeWe wanted to find out what people do in their day-to-day lives, if they sleep well, when they have mood swings, how they recharge, how their relationships are like, etc. |
