UI Mockups
HONG KONG BANK APP
To design UIs best, it is crucial to understand what users think about when they go through the experience. Users judge designs quickly and care about usability and likeability. They care mostly about getting their tasks done easliy and with minimum effort. UI, therefore, should not be "in the way", it best be "invisible" and in line with the context and task flow for the most seamless experiences.

![]() Bank App OnboardingThe onboarding process is a user's first impression of your app, and when designed correctly, increases the likelihood of successful adoption. | ![]() Landing PageControls can be placed near objects that users want to control. For example, the button to order a credit card should be near the credit card details. Users should also be informed regarding system responses/actions with feedback. | ![]() Credit Card PageThe number of actions for performing tasks is minimised and the focus is on one chief function per page. Users can be guided by indicating preferred actions. Complex tasks can be eased by using progressive disclosure. |

![]() Account OverviewUIs should be enjoyable, satisfying and frustration-free. When the design predicts user's needs, they can enjoy a more personalized and immersive experience. The key is to delight the users, so that they will keep returning to the interface. | ![]() DepositsGood design is emotional design. Users associate good feelings with brands that speak to them at all levels and deliver pleasurable, seamless experiences. | ![]() Alternate pagesTo create a great experience, I made all buttons and other elements perform predictably. Icons are clearly labeled with well-indicated affordances (shadows for buttons). Interfaces are kept simple with only elements that help serve users' purposes and the design is kept "invisible". |
